This sport-series stereo's rugged, splash-resistant case is made of high-impact plastic. Its durable build includes rubber gaskets, bushings, and waterproof seals that help keep out moisture and dirt. The built-in CD player provides digital sound with virtually no distortion.
The RMS programming feature can be used to program up to 20 tracks to play in any order, while the Shuffle mode plays CD tracks in a random order. The Automatic Music Sensor (AMS) system lets you skip forward to the beginning of the next track, or backward to replay the same track, at the touch of a button. The digital synthesized AM/FM stereo tuner offers accurate, drift-free tuning of AM and FM radio stations. Twenty radio-station presets and electronic settings offer one-button tuning for your choice of 10 favorite AM and 10 favorite FM stations.
This stereo also includes a clock/timer function (CD/tuner) and sleep timer with variable settings to let you fall asleep or wake to a compact disc or the radio. The stereo cassette deck records directly from the AM/FM stereo tuner or the CD player and lets you play your own cassettes and prerecorded tapes.
